More Connected and Energized for the Future.

The Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association (PMBIA) had reached a point in time where it required a strategic plan to guide its continued growth. Mary Christa was selected to facilitate the strategic planning process, this comprised support with qualitative and quantitative data collection and facilitation of the in-person PMBIA Board retreat.

Mary Christa’s approach during the information gathering process leading up to the retreat was very collaborative which allowed time to get to know the organization and staff, establish realistic milestones, ask the right questions of the stakeholders, and develop a custom schedule for the retreat.

The Board appreciated Mary Christa’s collaboration, intuitive facilitation, and attention to details. She took the time to set the tone for the discussions by ensuring the space was welcoming, her demeanor and communication style helped everyone feel comfortable sharing their ideas, she read the room and pivoted activities as needed.

We were delighted to wrap up the retreat having achieved our lofty goal of identifying our mission, vision, values, and populating a strategic framework to guide organizational decisions in to the future. We left as a more connected group, energized for the future, and would not hesitate to recommend Mary Christa.
